6.           Opt out of pre-approved offers.

9.           Secure personal information in your own home

 

10.            Shred all personal information including bank statements, credit card statements, receipts, pay stubs, tax information, etc. before placing it in the trash

 

11.            Use anti-spyware and anti-virus software.

 

12.            Get a mailbox that locks.

 

13.            Be wary of online shopping sites. Only shop at sites that you trust and are secure.
