The crime statistics in this section represent six months of offense data. This information has not been verified or subjected to quality control and is subject to change upon further investigation. Therefore, the data does not reflect official Part 1 crime as reported to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

Statistics are provided for Part 1 offenses only. These offenses include Homicide, Rape, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Larceny and Motor Vehicle Theft.

The purpose of this web site is to enable citizens to obtain the number of Part 1 offenses that have occurred in any of the listed Council Districts of the city during the recent six-month. No further case detail is provided.

The data contained in this web site reflect allegations of incidents that have been reported to law enforcement. The data is susceptible to a degree of error due to the complexities involved in data collection, entry, and geo-processing.
